ePromos Wins Big with Superior Service

ePromos knows a thing or two about meeting customers’ “how, when and where they want to be” in their buying journey. Since 1998, the leading industry distributor in the promotional products space has steadily grown their client base by providing what they call “wow” service. 

ePromos offers a full suite of comprehensive, branded swag solutions to help organizations market their brand through ideation, sourcing, production and distribution of customer merchandise. Their award-winning website, enterprise-level solutions and customer service capabilities set them apart. It comes as no surprise that they prefer a like-minded human capital management (HCM) partner to help them manage their nearly 140 full-time, exempt and non-exempt employees.

Same Great Service, More Opportunity

ePromos was a longtime, satisfied customer of Balance Point, a regional payroll service provider and reseller of isolved People Cloud, until their acquisition by isolved in 2021. Throughout the transition, the personalized service they had come to expect continued without interruption. This was particularly important to Jennifer Cornell, ePromos’ Director of People & Culture. “All the bells and whistles of the platform mean nothing to me without a polite and knowledgeable support team with a willingness to help,” says Jennifer.

Speaking of bells and whistles, moving to isolved meant access to more diversified solutions. In addition to Payroll, ePromos is currently leveraging Onboard & Develop to streamline and automate tasks associated with onboarding and offboarding talent and benefit carrier connections to simplify benefits administration.

It is estimated that isolved saves the ePromos People & Culture team:

  • 10+ hours per payroll cycle by automating the process
  • 4+ hours per new hire thanks to digitized onboarding
  • 2+ hours per employee by streamlining benefits administration

What’s next on their agenda? According to Jennifer, they are looking to add Time & Labor Management and performance management through Share & Perform.

Support That’s Regional, Relevant and Responsive

According to Jennifer, these products are helping ePromos achieve their vision of having “a single platform to provide employees with self-service benefits and compensation management.” But it’s a provider’s commitment to timely and comprehensive customer service that resonates most with her, as it does with many other HR professionals. In fact, according to our survey of 500 HR leaders, 18 percent who are unhappy with their current ASO or payroll provider say it’s because of service issues.

Fortunately, isolved is checking that box for Jennifer. During her career, she has worked with Paycom, Paychex, ADP and Kronos, among others, but is very satisfied with her current situation. “As a user of several other platforms, for me, customer service is very important. With isolved, it is amazing,” says Jennifer.
