From Spreadsheets to Super-Charged Growth

Imagine360 is an innovative health plan partner founded on a unique premise: health plans can do better. As the company has made substantial progress in accomplishing its goal, it needed to modernize and centralize its payroll and HR efforts.

From Manual to Modern

When Michelle Ward, imagine360’s HR Director, started at the company in 2017, the company had approximately 140 employees. As the company grew and acquired other organizations, they began to add additional companies with their own HR processes and practices in place. The result of propulsive growth? Excel spreadsheet files that grew exponentially larger and more complex.

Imagine360 tasked isolved with creating a custom report that would prove critical in the company’s merit increase and bonus process. Prior to isolved’s involvement, “Each department had a spreadsheet, and it was emailed a million times over again. When we did the 2022 merit increases in 2023, it was catastrophic. We were fixing it from March to May because of all the manual data entry,” Ward says.

The isolved Support team, which Ward calls “hands down the best out there”, quickly went to work and built a report that scoped out and projects wages with new bonuses and merit increases. “They built customized fields in isolved for us to be able to put this data in to build the report. We can spit this out for any set data range for any department.”

Through the new customized report, the imagine360 HR department has transformed what was once a three-month project into one that is completed during one payroll cycle. They were able to hit their deadlines and pay their employees on time and without any errors. Best of all? Ward’s team can repurpose the report, giving her the ability to further cut down on manual processes. Ward sums up the experience with one word— “Amazing.”

A Launchpad for Growth

As we mentioned, the company has enjoyed substantial growth since Ward started in 2017. Today, the organization employs approximately 1,500 employees—a nearly 970% increase in seven years. isolved’s Attract & Hire solution has proved invaluable in enabling a smooth transition for new hires. “Our team leans on it very significantly to increase headcount as we are on this rocketship of growth. Especially as we hire 20% year over year.”

Ultimately for a growing company, it’s sometimes about not introducing too much too soon. But all things in time. “We were trying to manage three different pay cycles with all these employees. We finally got there…We have come so far,” Ward says.
